Are you looking for Mounjaro? We Now Have Compounded Tirzepatide Here!

Tirzepatide, sold under the brand name Mounjaro®, is the newest injectable drug in a group of drugs called GLP-1 receptor agonists (or GLP-1 mimickers). It was FDA approved for the treatment of type 2 diabetes in May 2022. In addition to it's effects on blood sugar and insulin levels, studies have shown that Mounjaro®(tirzepatide) provided substantial and sustained weight loss.
GLP-1 drugs (such as Mounjaro®, Ozempic®, and Wegovy™) are a group of new drugs that mimic GLP-1, a hormone the body releases after a meal, signaling you are full and lowering appetite. However, Mounjaro®(tirzepatide) is unique because it attaches to two different receptors (GLP-1 and GIP), unlike previous GLP-1 analogs, which only attach to one. Due to it's unique dual activity, Mounjaro®(tirzepatide) has shown about 50% better weight loss than Ozempic® and Wegovy™.
We've prescribed Mounjaro®(tirzepatide) at Cordova Weight Loss with great success, but with increasing demand, it can be hard to find - many pharmacies experience delays in their orders, and patients are sometimes struggling to locate it.
But we have Tirzepatide Plus now in the clinic!
Our compounding pharmacy has mixed Tirzepatide (the active ingredient in Mounjaro®) with B12 (for energy) so that we can provide the injections in the office. The first three doses (2.5mg, 5mg, and 7.5mg) are available in the clinic weekly.
When you come to the clinic and request Tirzepatide Plus, you will pay $75 for the initial 2.5mg injection (there is no additional office visit charge). You will be checked in (blood pressure, pulse, weight), and then you will be evaluated by the nurse practitioner (NP). If you have no contraindications, the NP will prescribe four weekly injections of 2.5 mg to start. (We have had patients lose up to 20 lbs in one month on this dose of Mounjaro®, and the first 17 patients we saw who took this dose of Mounjaro® lost an average of 10 lbs in one month.)
After your first 2.5mg injection, you will return in one week and pay $75 for your second 2.5 mg injection. You do not have to see the NP for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th doses; just pay for the shot, get it, and walk out. After 4 weeks you will be evaluated by the NP again. You will have the option of staying at the 2.5 mg dose or increase to 5mg. Prices escalate with dosage:

We may offer the 10 mg, 12.5 mg, and 15 mg dosages in the future, depending upon the ability of our compounding pharmacy to keep up with demand. The prices will be $150, $175, and $200 per shot, respectively. However, many patients do very well on these lower dosages listed above and continue the same dose month after month.
Are you ready to lose some serious weight? Come see us and try Tirzepatide Plus!
